We started Starflow Nexus because too many families in Ireland were struggling with investment decisions. Our approach focuses on practical education that helps parents build wealth while teaching their children about money.
The Beginning - 2019
After seeing countless families make costly investment mistakes, we realized there was a gap in practical financial education. Most courses were either too technical or too simplified. We wanted something that worked for real Irish families with real budgets and concerns.
Building Our Method - 2021
We spent two years developing our family-centered approach. Instead of generic investment advice, we focus on how families can work together on financial goals. This includes teaching children age-appropriate money concepts while parents learn investment fundamentals.
Community Growth - 2023
Our programs expanded to include group sessions and family workshops. We found that when families learn together, they're more likely to stick with their financial plans. The peer support element has been incredibly valuable for our participants.
Looking Forward - 2025
Today, we're focused on making quality financial education accessible to more Irish families. Our programs combine practical investment knowledge with family financial planning, helping parents build wealth while raising financially literate children.

Meet Colm Fitzpatrick
Colm founded Starflow Nexus after fifteen years in financial services, where he noticed a consistent problem: families weren't getting the practical education they needed to make good investment decisions.
His background includes working with credit unions across Ireland and helping hundreds of families develop their first investment portfolios. What frustrated him was seeing the same mistakes repeated - not because people weren't smart enough, but because they hadn't been taught the fundamentals in a way that made sense for their situation.
Colm lives in Waterford with his wife and two teenage children, who've been his first test subjects for many of the family-focused approaches we use in our programs.
